Creating new twists on timeless favorites is so satisfying!  Try one of these new ways to elevate your PB&J!

Start with great bread.  From local bakeries to in-store bakeries and home-made – the choices today are endless!  If you haven’t experimented with anything other than white or wheat – time to up your game.  Some options to try:

  • Ancient Grain Breads
  • French Baguette
  • Italian Ciabatta
  • Rustic Sour Dough
  • Walnut Bread
  • Banana or Date Nut Bread

Choose your nut butter.  So many to choose from – including almond, cashew, pistachio, hazelnut and more.

Add inclusions – add key ingredients to help provide even more incredible flavor and texture.  Classic inclusions include sliced bananas, strawberries or apples, pomegranate seeds, chopped nuts, raisins and chopped dried fruits.

Take it over the top with fun new ingredients, such as layering in thin slices of brie cheese, crispy bacon, or mashed avocado.

And of course – use your favorite Bonnie’s Jam!
