Celebrate the bounty of the harvest season with delicious all-natural plum jam! Join us Thursday, October 9th from 6:30-8:30pm for a jam making class.
Hosted by Brookwood Community Farm, the class will be held at the East Congregational Church kitchen at 610 Adams Street in Milton, MA.
Tickets are still available for purchase through Brookwood Community Farm's website. Materials are included in all course prices. All participants will learn some new skills and get the chance to take a jar home.

A free Athleta yoga class at 9:30 precedes a complementary Healthy Breakfast Buffet, featuring Bonnie's Jams and other local vendors. An casual talk led by Registered Dietician and Nutritionist Jessica Cording will provide insight into how an overall healthy approach to breakfast leaves room for special treats too!

Learn how to jar the flavors and fragrances of summer. I will share some of my favorite recipes and jam-making secrets. I cooks my jam to match the flavors I remembers from a childhood spent in myfamily home surrounded by orchards of fruit trees and berry bushes in Southern California. We will be exploring basic preservation and learning what to do with all that extra summer fruit!

Bully Boy Distillers and Bonnie’s Jams, two artisanal New England purveyors, are partnering with leading mixologists for a special event featuring springtime jam cocktails.
A growing trend in the cocktail scene, these jam cocktails incorporate bright spring flavors such as peach, strawberry and rhubarb without resorting to artificial flavorings or heavy syrups.
Guests will enjoy passed apps and two cocktails prepared by bartenders from Russell House Tavern and Island Creek Oyster Bar with an opportunity to meet Bully Boy founders Will and Dave Willis and Bonnie Shershow of Bonnie’s Jams.
