Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

Ingredients:

One sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
One 8 oz. wheel of favorite Brie cheese
1⁄2 cup Bonnie’s Jams Cranberry Cherry Cabernet
1⁄4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted (optional)

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425F.

Roll out puff pastry slightly on sheet of parchment cut to t your cookie or baking sheet. Lift parchment and place onto cookie sheet. Place brie cheese on top (leaving the rind on). Spread Bonnie’s Jams Cranberry Cherry Cabernet jam over the top of the wheel of brie. Sprinkle walnuts over the top of the jam, if using. Pull edges of brie up to wrap the cheese completely. Remove excess crust and use for decorative top or to make puff pastry sticks with jam!

Place the pan in the oven and reduce heat to 400F. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Cut into small wedges and serve with your favorite crackers or crisp breads.
